We started small!
Perfect Paws started with worry. Adele had an ornery Lhasa Apso that she was afraid would be handled incorrectly, with that fear in mind she decided the best thing was to become a pet stylist to make sure her pet was handled in the safest and best hands ever: her own hands. Grooming quickly became a passion.
In 2000, Adele teamed up with a small business investor and opened the grooming salon, a 500-square-foot building in McAllen. For several years she strived for excellence and built a clientele. With time, and with the help of other groomers, she was able to build and manage a successful business, all without advertisement, simply word of mouth. In 2008, Erika came along with a fresh two years of pet styling experience and a little extra. She had the same love for pets as Adele did. She had an established clientele who trusted her not only with grooming but with the care of their pets while they were away. She would take her pet clients home with her, care for them, walk them, feed them, and cater to them as if they were her own. A home away from home.
Adele and Erika teamed up in 2012 and expanded their dreams in the pet industry. What better than a luxury resort to go with the grooming salon? They both managed as a team, day and night, to provide a safe, luxurious, and comfortable facility for pets of all sizes. They have a wonderfully experienced team behind them who not only care for the pets but also comfort the pet parents.
Thanks to our community, and loyal clientele, today, they operate as managing partners, groomers, and mentors for their team. Also, enjoying every tail wag, puppy kiss, and purr that walks in their doors.
Perfect Paws Pet Salon and Resort is grateful to the community, our loyal clients and professional staff, who have played an essential role in our growth. With your trust and our grooming experience, Perfect Paws continues to offer the best pet care for your four-legged friend.
